Hossam El Nazer教授是埃及国家研究中心（埃及规模最大、学科覆盖最广的国家级科研机构）催化与水处理脱盐领域教授，现任国际氢能协会（IAHE）董事会成员，欧洲脱盐协会（EDS）成员，同时也是中国国际丝绸之路科学院成员，是可再生能源、光催化及水处理脱盐领域的知名学者。同时，他还在埃及多个学术机构和项目中任职，如担任埃及国家研究中心化学工业研究所创业委员会秘书长、科研与产业连接委员会成员等，并作为首席研究员（PI）主持“牛顿—穆沙拉法计划”中“水处理/海水淡化系统的设计与实施”等多项UK-Egypt国际项目，在埃及光催化与水处理领域扮演着重要角色。累计发表期刊论文50余篇，并申请2篇埃及专利。曾与英国伯明翰大学、美国圣路易斯大学、意大利巴勒莫大学、匈牙利塞格德大学等国际知名大学开展合作。
报告摘要：
This presentation will explore recent advances in photocatalytic materials and their promising role in sustainable water treatment. Key topics include semiconductor-based mechanisms, novel materials such as doped TiO? and g-C?N? composites, and their effectiveness in degrading pollutants and emerging contaminants. Real-world case studies, prototype development, and future prospects for scale-up and integration into hybrid systems will also be discussed. The report highlights photocatalysis as an innovative and eco-friendly approach to addressing global water challenges.
